Some pranks are funny… others are legendary. And this one? It’s pure nightmare fuel with a twist of comedy gold.
It all started with an old, creepy-looking doll we found at a thrift store. With messy hair, cracked eyes, and a face straight out of a horror movie, it was perfect. The plan? Set it up in the backseat of the car and make it come to life while my girlfriend was sitting in the front.
We rigged the doll with fishing line and hid a tiny speaker under the seat to play creepy whispers and laughter. I told my girlfriend we were going for a quick drive, acting totally normal. She didn’t even notice the doll at first. But when it slowly turned its head and whispered her name…

She screamed, jumped, and tried to climb over the dashboard. I almost couldn’t hold in my laughter. As the doll “moved” again and let out another ghostly sound, she was convinced the car was haunted. She even tried to open the door while we were driving (don’t worry — child lock was on!).
