You might be trying to brush their fur, and suddenly they collapse like a telenovela star struck by betrayal. Or maybe you leave for five minutes and come back to a full-blown guilt trip, complete with howling, pacing, and those big watery eyes. Don’t even get started on bath time—it’s basically the canine version of a horror movie.
What’s hilarious is how calculated some of their reactions are. You take away their toy? Cue the sighing and sad staring into the void. Ask them to get off the couch? They roll off like their heart is breaking. Some even do the slow, dramatic flop onto the floor just to make you feel like you’re the bad guy.
